Somewhat related, I would like to propose a rule to baseball that whatever team wins the World Series has ONLY home games for the next year. Give their fans double the fun and make everyone come to their house.

The post-season is no time for finger pointing, so I accept full responsibility for Howard’s golden sombrero last night. The baseball universe is a impossibly sensitive system of thoughts, jinxes and vibes, and I made the clunky error of pointing out, mid-post-season, how well Howard was hitting in the playoffs. I am so sorry.
